The European Parliamentary Financial Services Forum has the honour of inviting you to a Reception to welcome Members of the new European Parliament.
The Forum is an independent platform bringing together major stakeholders to discuss topics related to financial markets and services. It aims at fostering the dialogue between the European Parliament ant the financial services industry, while it does not advocate any specific point of views.
It is leading the debate on crucial issues which will be at the heart of the European legislative agenda. Its mission is to promote the integration of a single European market for financial services across national borders, which is globally competitive and to the benefit of the European economy as well as suppliers and consumers of financial services.
After speeches from the keynote speakers, this reception will be an occasion for MEPs to discuss financial services issues and to learn more about the Forum. An exhibition will be organised in conjunction with the event to present the activities of the Forum.
We look forward to welcoming you at our event.
Burkhard Balz MEP
Chair of the European Parliamentary Financial Services Forum
